Chongqing Zoo to welcome tourists on March 25

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Zoo will be reopened in an orderly manner on March 25, 2020. It will adopt non-contact ticket sales. When the number is close to 30% of the instantaneous capacity, tourists will be temporarily suspended from entering the zoo.
The zoo will be opened from 9:00 to 17:00 (stopped check-in at 16:00, closed at 17:00). East Gate I and II will be opened, and the West Gate will be temporarily closed. In addition to the normal opening hours of the zoo, all outsiders (including those with annual cards) are forbidden to enter the zoo. At the same time, Birdsong Forest, Kangaroo Garden, Goldfish Hall and some indoor exhibition halls will be temporarily closed. Catering, amusement facilities and children’s carts in the zoo will be temporarily closed, and the recovery time will be announced later.
Chongqing Zoo adopts non-contact ticket sales, without cash. Tourists can book tickets online with their real name and purchase tickets with their real name at the zoo. Tourists with a free ticket or an annual ticket are required to register by scanning the real name online or on-site. When the number of people entering the park on that day is close to 30% of the instantaneous carrying capacity, tourists will be suspended from entering the park and be jointly controlled with the local departments. From the date when Chongqing zoo was reopened to December 31, 2020, medical workers with valid certificates nationwide can enter the zoo for free.
Tourists with a free ticket or those need to purchase a ticket shall enter the park after checking their personal information and health status by presenting their entry verification code, ID card, health code or health certificate. Tourists who enjoy a free ticket or half-ticket discount need to show their relevant certificates.
Chongqing Zoo reminds tourists that those with abnormal temperature or without masks are not allowed to enter the zoo. Remember to wear masks throughout the tour. After entering the park, please consciously keep a distance for more than 1 meter and do not carry out group activities to avoid crowding and gathering.
