CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Pear blossoms have been in full bloom in Lanshuwan, Qianfeng Village, Houping Township, Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, Chongqing. The white pear blossoms reflected the black tile wooden houses, and the whole village has become a fairytale world of pink makeup and jade.

According to the villagers, more than ten years ago, they set up a village rule. During the Spring Festival each year, each family plant a pear tree in the open space behind the house. At that time, their only concern was to beautify the environment.

For more than 10 years, villagers here have acquiesced to this village rule. What they did not expect was that in recent years, with the growth of the pear trees, the pear blossoms were very beautiful, attracting many tourists from other places to enjoy the flowers here. Thus the village was named “Lihua Village” by local people. The pear trees have rich fruits, with a pure and sweet taste, which brought considerable economic income to the villagers.
