CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The creative posters about epidemic prevention and control are made by college students. Recently, the School of Arts of Chongqing University launched an activity themed on “We Are Together” for fighting against COVID-19 (novel coronavirus pneumonia) poster collection; and college students said that they cannot do as doctors and nurses, but they can do something for epidemic prevention and control by their own way.

Liao Junjie, creator of the poster “Zero Person Infected COVID-19”, majored in Visual Communication Design of Grade 2018, introduced that the poster shows the picture with gauze masks, staying at home and washing hands, as well as the mutual support among countries and joint epidemic prevention and control elements. He thought that the most interesting design is to split “0” along the diagonal to form a “heart” shape. He said: “for Zero Person Infected COVID-19, this is what people all over the world expect. We just honor those fighting against the COVID-19.”

In another work, Liao combined the mouse with “Wusheng (an actor playing a martial role in Chinese operas)” and “Zhengjing (the “painted face”, a character type in Chinese operas)” to show the faith of winning.

The relevant person in charge of the School of Arts of Chongqing University said that many teachers and students created works themed on epidemic prevention and control during winter vacation. On February 20, the School of Arts of Chongqing University launched an activity themed on “We Are Together” for fighting against COVID-19 (novel coronavirus pneumonia) poster collection. After one month, experts appraised and elected over 20 outstanding works for display. (Translated by Liu Hongyan, Fathom Language Limited)
