“Thank you all for your efforts and insistence to make diplomats in Chongqing feel safe and secure.” Luo Lan, Consul General of the Hungarian Consulate General in Chongqing, said at the video conference. At present, Hungary’s epidemic prevention and control is facing many difficulties and challenges. They hope that through the video communication, they can learn useful practices and experience from Chongqing to overcome the epidemic as soon as possible.

Hungary is one of the important countries in Chongqing’s foreign exchanges and the only Central and Eastern European country which has set a Consulate General in Chongqing.

During the video call, Hungary also hopes to further communicate with Chongqing experts offline. He Lifang, a second-class inspector of the Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, said that in addition to the video experience sharing in Hungary, Chongqing has also been ready to provide foreign aid in terms of personnel and goods.

Since April 2, the third batch of goods donated by Chongqing will be sent from Chongqing to 27 countries and organizations including Serbia, Pakistan, Colombia, Spain, Ukraine and Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including masks, protective gown, isolation clothing, nucleic acid testing kits and medical gloves.
