BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhua) -- China's Ministry of Education has issued a circular calling for effective assistance to help private kindergartens across the country overcome difficulties amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

Noting that policies, including financial subsidies, rent and tax relief, have been rolled out to aid private kindergartens since the COVID-19 outbreak, the circular urged local education authorities to learn from good practices and issue supportive policies based on local conditions.

Demanding strengthened fund support to private kindergartens, the circular also required localities to ensure the provision of epidemic prevention supplies to private kindergartens after resuming classes.
