Chongqing Library launches “23 Days” Reading Plan

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Reading is a simple and feasible thing that can be done immediately. But can you open a book and read it for 23 consecutive days? The “23 Days” Reading Plan of Chongqing Libray is waiting for you to have a challenge! On the occasion of the upcoming World Reading Day on April 23, Chongqing Linrary launched the “23 Days” Reading Plan on April 23. Readers of the whole city can participate for free and have the opportunity to win 23 cups of coffee.

According to Chongqing Library, the “23 Days” Reading Plan launched on April 23 and will last until May 15. Readers follow the “Chongqing Library” WeChat public account and click on “My Chongqing Library” to enter the “23 Days” event page to participate in. The online platform covers massive e-books and audio books, collecting 300,000 genuine e-books, 500,000 collections of audio books, and more than 80,000 exquisite original journals and magazines. It not only covers a large number of popular best-selling new books, award-winning works, famous works, film and television original works and other e-books, but also includes audio books like Tang poem and Song jambic verse, popular books, fairy tales, popular science knowledge. Chongqing Library said that the “23 Days” Reading Plan will announce readers’ reading rankings in real time at 10:00 a.m. every day based on the time of reading. As of May 15 at 24:00, after 23 days of reading, readers ranked 1st to 4th in total reading time will receive 23 Starbucks drinks, and those ranked 5th to 10th in total duration will receive 10 Starbucks drinks.
