CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On April 21st, due to a drop in temperature, Hongchiba National Forest Park greeted a spring snow, presenting a rare scene of snow and azalea blossoms.

From the air, the Tianzicheng scenic spot in Hongchiba National Forest Park is crisscrossed with ravines. Hills, trees and grass covered with snow seemed like a great Chinese ink painting.

At the Yinchangping scenic spot, due to the temperature rising a few days ago, 10,000 mu of wild azalea blossoms began to bloom about half a month earlier than usual. A snowfall at night covered the bright azalea blossoms, making them clear. Spring flowers and snow formed a wonderful scenery together.

The staff of Hongchiba Scenic Area in Wuxi said that the snow hit the scenic area on the afternoon of April 21st and continued to fall until 22nd. Hongchiba Scenic Area has high elevation, between 1,800m and 2,630m. So, it’s common to see snow in April. “A unique scene this year is that our 10,000 mu azalea blossoms bloom in the snow, making the scenic area more beautiful.” (Translated by Mao Qiao, Fathom Language Limited)
