CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- April 22nd is the World Earth Day. Recently, “Cherish the Earth” Children Painting Exhibition was held in Mexin Wine Town, Fuling. Twenty-five children exhibited their hand-painted works, calling for more people to learn about earth protection and take part in environmental activities.

Qiu Wanyu, a student of Grade 3 from Chongqing Fuling Foreign Language School, exhibited the painting called “Global Village”. She said that the painting was centered as watering the earth, and clouds, green trees, flowers were supplements. “In daily life, I have found that many people waste water. Therefore, I want to make people realize the value of water resources on the earth to human beings through my painting, and call for everyone to save water resources. At the same time, we should do our best to travel in a low-carbon and environmentally friendly travel.”

The 7-year-old Liao Lingyu exhibited the painting called “Green Earth”. Terrestrial and marine life painted by color pencils made her painting colorful.

The Curator of the “Cherish the Earth” Children Painting Exhibition, Feng Tingxiang said that all 25 paintings of environment protection exhibited on that day were painted by children. The youngest painter is only 5 years old. Through their own brush, they draw their own green home to call on everyone to care for the environment and cherish the earth.
