CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to Liangjiang Group, Harrow School, one of the world’s leading private schools, is about to open the Innovation Leadership Academies in Longxing Park, Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing. It is expected to open in September this year. This is also one of the first Harrow Schools in China.

Founded in 1572, Harrow School is one of the nine most prestigious and oldest public schools in the UK. In November 2017, the Management Committee of Liangjiang New Area and Harrow International signed an investment agreement to formally introduce and establish K-12 International Private School Chongqing Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies.

Chongqing Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies is located in Longxing Park, Liangjiang New Area. It is a full-time and boarding high-end international school from kindergarten to high school.

In terms of structure, Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies has a British principal and a Chinese principal. The Chinese teacher team led by the Chinese principal is in charge of teaching four subjects: Chinese, ideology and morality, history, and geography, all of which will be taught in Chinese. The foreign teacher team is responsible for all subjects in primary school, mathematics, science, English, and computer, all of which will be taught in English.

In 2020, Chongqing Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies plans to only open enrollment for grades 1-7, with no more than 24 students in each class. According to the plan, the future Harrow Innovation Leadership Academies can accommodate 2,000 students, including 210 students in pre-school education.
