CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- You can appreciate the greens when you open your window, and enjoy flowers when you go out. In Shuangfeng Road Community, Lianglu Sub-district, flowers and green grass have been planted in the vicinity of the single building in the jurisdiction area, accompanied by leisure pavilions.

Walking into Chuanjiu Community Street, Shuangfeng Road Community, Lianglu Sub-district, you can see that the slope is covered with green plants afar, and the green background is dotted with gorgeous bougainvillea. There are 22 single buildings and 723 households in the community. Due to the inconvenience of the management of single building street in the past, many residents used public vacant land to grow vegetables nearby, which attracted many mosquitoes and rodents. As the weather is getting hotter, and the smell of irrigation and fertilization makes other residents unbearable.

This year, under the guidance of the Lianglu Sub-district Party Working Committee and Affairs Office, Shuangfeng Road Community began to “add greens” to the single building community.

Then, under the overall planning of the Sub-district, the Community started from the improvement of public service and the convenience of people’s lives, combined with the geographical advantages of the street, the street environment was improved, and plants such as bougainvilleas, winter jasmines, and roses were planted on the slope, cliff and scarps. At the same time, the construction of mobile flower beds, characteristic wooden pavilions, courtyard and dam leisure tables and chairs, fitness equipment and other facilities has transformed the single building street into a “green community”, which is widely welcomed by the residents.
