CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “Wow! The white wild grass is so amazing!” Recently, many passengers expressed such amazement when they passed Xingping Village, Piaocao Town, Yunyang County, Chongqing. Some even parked there to take photos.

It turns out that it is the wild grass growing in Liziyuan, Xingping Village, Piaocao Town, which has become a natural flower sea. The terraces that rise with the mountains were surrounded by patches of thatches. In the meantime, the grass danced with the wind like white spray. Under the blue sky and white clouds, each scene was fresh and artistic. When the twilight was rising and the setting sun was shining on the earth, the sea of grass and flowers would be covered with golden gauze, which seemed fascinating and mysterious.

According to local villagers, this sea of thatched flowers was an “unintentional positive outcome.” The terraces where they were located were part of the Yunxiang Crispy Plum Orchard being built locally, covering an area of more than 300 mu. In order to improve the soil environment and facilitate the planting of plum trees, the owner of the orchard carried out land preparation and composting of the fields. Over the past few months, the vigorous thatches have grown here wildly, forming a unique landscape. However, with the construction of the plum orchard, the grass will be cleaned up in the near future, so the landscape was just a flash in the pan.
