CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. announced that from July 1 at 0:00, the national railway will implement a new train operation plan. After the implementation of the new train operation plan, the Group Company will operate 725 passenger trains, of which 579 trains will be operated, accounting for 79.9% of the total number of passenger trains. At the same time, the Group Company will simultaneously open a 62-day summer transportation from July 1 to August 31.
In the summer transportation in 2020, Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. is expected to carry 68.8 million passengers, about 1.11 million per day, with a year-on-year increase of 3.271 million, or 5%.
It is worth mentioning that on July 1, four pairs of EMU trains from Sichuan and Chongqing to Dali will be opened for the first time, which are: One pair of G2845 / 6 train from Chengdudong to Dali will be opened since July 1. One pair of G2837 / 8 train from Chengdudong to Dali will be opened since July 2. Two pairs of G2841 / 2 and G2849 / 50 trains from Chongqingxi to Dali were newly opened since July 1. One pair of D808 / 7 EMU trains from Guiyangbei to Lanzhou was added since July 2. CR200J EMU was used for this train, commonly known as “Hulk”.
EMUs are added to popular tourist cities such as Emei Mountain. The additional trains are mainly: One pair for G8754 / 7 trains from Chongqingbei to Emei Mountain, one pair for D6177 / 8 trains from Chongqingxi to Wanzhoubei, One pair for G8503 / 4 trains from Chengdudong to Chongqingbei, 0.5 pair for C6435 from Wanzhoubei to Chongqingbei, and 0.5 pair for C6448 from Chongqingbei to Changshoubei.
