CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Terminus Technology Co., LTD. of China Everbright Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Terminus”) has officially become the official chief partner of Expo 2020 in Dubai. It is the only Chinese company among the 12 partners in the world. Terminus will deploy more than 150 intelligent robots at the Expo to provide services such as welcoming and interacting with visitors, information inquiry, catering and delivery.

Expo 2020 in Dubai is the first Expo to be held in the Middle East. Due to the impact of the global epidemic, the opening time of the Expo 2020 in Dubai has been delayed by one year, and will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022.

During the Expo, Terminus will deploy more than 150 intelligent robots and interact with visitors from all over the world together with Opti, the mascot of the Expo. Many technologies like multi-modal interaction, 5G, AI mapping and object detection will be used to provide services such as welcoming and interacting with visitors, information inquiry, catering and delivery.

Meanwhile, the first overseas headquarters and the R&D center of Terminus will be located in the District 2020. Together with the world's top enterprises, this district covering an area of about 438 hectares will be built into a model of global smart city. The R&D center will interact actively with local UAE businesses, technology leaders and scientists. Accelerators will be set up inside the R&D center to accelerate UAE's scientific and technological innovation and facilitate multi-dimensional intelligent transformation of regional infrastructure to create an innovative ecosystem.
