CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On July 28, the “New Fashion in Mountain City · Smoke-free Chongqing － I Draw a Smoke-free Themed Poster for Chongqing Tour Exhibition.” organized by Chongqing Health Education Institute and Xintan Health Development Research Center was launched in If Plaza, Yubei District, and 600 smoke-free posters met with citizens for the first time. The tour will last until August 17. According to the plan, Chongqing will achieve a total ban on smoking in indoor public places within this year.

According to Lai Weiyun, Deputy Director of Chongqing Health Education Institute, this poster tour exhibition received more than 1,600 works submitted by 1,165 designers from all over the country. “We specially selected 600 excellent works, recognized and thanked the designers for supporting the smoke-free Chongqing legislation through offline exhibitions, and let more Chongqing citizens realize the harm of second-hand smoke and the importance of comprehensive smoke-free indoor public places,” Lai Weiyun said.
