CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Itinerant Exhibition REVIVE IN ART (Chongqing) was unveiled in BLOOMAGE LIVE · Yudong - Chongqing Times Art Museum last weekend. This exhibition covered about 150 artworks created by 44 artists from 8 art institutions and themed on three units. From August 8 to October 9, this exhibition would reignite people's inspiration for life and imagination for the future with authentic and fashionable artworks and interactive projects.

It is understood that during this period, medical workers, candidates for the senior high school entrance examination and national college entrance examination in 2020, the PLA, the elderly over 60 years old, and the disabled can pay a visit for free with valid certificates or work certificates.

Fighting “epidemic” with “art” and warming heart with emotion

It was seen on the site that the unit titled “Chun Feng Song Nuan (The Spring Breeze Brings Warmth)” was located on the right of Floor 1; and there was a 10m-wide screen displaying the video records of medical workers during the period of fighting againsnovel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), which seems to bring us back to this cold early spring because it truly records the ordinary and great stories of the front-line “warriors”.

In the face of the COVID-19, teachers and students from Sichuan Conservatory of Music have created a number of vivid works about the epidemic with their paintbrushes, and 45 poster designs have been selected for the exhibition, hoping to show their care and respect to the "soldiers" fighting in the front line. Meanwhile, there was also a report made by the national 5A public-raising foundation - Ai You Foundation and displayed the warm-hearted moments recorded in camera, which makes audiences feel as if they are on the scene of the fight against the COVID-19 and brings more hope in the spring as well as the power of revival from the perspective of photography.

On the other side of Floor 1, the unit titled “Qing Song Cui Bai (green pine and cypress)” in which “Qing Song” means “green pine”. This unit is designed to use the fresh green color to bring you the freedom to release your mood. This exhibition is participated in by iPOINT Pixel Community, illustrator SUCCULENCY, the young artist Liu Maoning and other artists and designers recommended. This exhibition creates relaxed and playful artist project sites from unrestrained ideas, forms a green environment, and shows a colorful imagination.

Street art moves on with graffiti artists

The unit titled “Qi Hua Yi Cao (exotic graffiti and rare herbs)” is on Floor 2. The large-scale graffito on the walls of the Art Museum are bright and eye-catching and created by 3 Chinese famous street artists in 5 days, showing the virtual play with “Penzhai” as the leading character, “talking” to audiences through different scenes, and using abstract street art to present the beauty of “the cool summer” here.

“The Wanted” pasted on the uprights of the exhibition site are created by PSSSST, calling to arrest happiness, and audiences to interact and draw themselves on “the Wanted” and find their own happiness.

It is understood that the Exhibition REVIVE IN ART was firstly exhibited in Beijing on May 1, 2020, and accordingly the revival of fashion swept across the capital. After 60 days, under the circumstances of epidemic control, the total number of visitors exceeded 26,000. The exhibition received favorable comments and many citizens went here one after another. By virtue of its resource advantages, Chongqing Times Art Museum will reproduce the original offline art feast, giving Chongqing citizens the opportunity to personally experience high-quality art.
