HOHHOT, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- A horse-themed dance drama, previously suspended due to the COVID-19 epidemic, has resumed in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The drama, prominently featuring equestrian acrobatics and ethnic Mongolian song and dance, shows how people and horses, humanity and nature coexist harmoniously.

Sixty percent of the horses in the drama are Mongolian horses, one of the oldest horse species in the world.

The drama was first staged in Xilinhot City in 2014. Since 2017, it began to be staged in Hohhot. In previous years, it was staged every day from May 1 to Oct. 7. This year, due to epidemic prevention and control measures, two performances are scheduled every weekend in August. Enditem
