CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, Chongqing Daily reporter learned from Green Development Company of Guangyang Isle that Phase I of the Guangyang Isle Ecological Restoration Project was completed on schedule, and it will open to the public for trial operation on August 22. The public can make reservations to visit the island to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the “Scenic Eye of the Yangtze River and Chongqing Eco Island”.

What is Guangyang Isle like today? On the isle: the isle is shaded by trees; the water is clear and the grass is green; wild ducks, mandarin ducks, sparrows and egrets perch leisurely; golden rice ears swing with the wind, like a Bayu version of Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains.

After the public on the isle, while enjoying the scenery, they can also learn about the techniques, methods and materials used in ecological restoration in different areas through a number of ecological display boards, which is equivalent to walking into a vivid “ecological classroom”.

What is the best way to visit? According to the introduction, the public can experience the beautiful views of Guangyang Isle in depth with “one route and six points”. “One route” is a 12km clockwise ecological route around the isle. The “six points” are six ecological experience points, namely west head of the isle, integrated ecological restoration demonstration site, central peak platform, east side of the Stadium, east end of the isle and Guangyang Camp.

How do people enter the isle? It is understood that the bus line into Guangyang Isle will be opened. After making reservations in advance, people will be able to enter the isle through taking the bus and transferring to a new energy vehicle at the west end of the isle. At the same time, the public can also choose to make reservations to walk onto the isle. When time is right, there is also a plan to extend cruise route of Liangjiangyou to Guangyang Isle.

It was noted that private cars and operational vehicles are not yet allowed on the isle. Specific reservations for getting on the isle will be made public by August 22. (Translated by Wang Huixin, Fathom Language Limited)
