CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last Friday, the Kumamon bear sculpture that was washed away by the flood to the Nanbin Road near Ciyun Temple went viral on the Internet. Its silly look and confused expression made netizens call it very funny. The Kumamon bear sculpture was from Longmenhao Old Street. At present, the management officers of Longmenhao Old Street have taken the bear back to the scenic spot, and the next step is to still place it in the lower plaza of the scenic spot for netizens to take photos.

“It was moved into the car at 17:30. It was so heavy that it needed three men to carry.” Wu Yan, a management officer of Longmenhao Old Street, was part of the group that brought Kumamon bear back and was washing the mud off her body when contacted by the reporter. Wu Yan said that they arrived at the location of Kumamon bear at 3:00 p.m., but it was too heavy to be moved by hand, so they tried various ways to move it. More than two hours later when an electric emergency vehicle passed by, the driver kindly helped them take the Kumamon back to the scenic spot.
