CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the reporter came to Xingang Community, Qiezixi Sub-district, Dadukou District, Chongqing Municipality, and saw many residents taking exercise and leisure in the renovated Folk Culture Square, feeling at ease. Resident Chen Lan said that since the “small square” was built, it has become a good place for people to relax and have fun.

The said “small square” refers to the folk culture square in front of the Public Service Center of Qiezixi Sub-district. The Folk Culture Square covers an area of about 2,000 square meters and is completed with basketball court, badminton court, tea garden and leisure corridor.

Coming to the square, the reporter saw many changes which are innovative. Leisure corridor is planted with bougainvillea speetabilis, and a lot of green plants among them. Sitting at the corridor and looking into a distance, the reporter saw the beautiful scenery of Xingang Park, new sports facilities which are also popular among residents. After the renovation, the Folk Culture Square has become the first choice for residents of more than 1000 families nearby to relax and exercise in the morning and evening.
