MEXICO CITY, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Pumas UNAM climbed to second in the Liga MX Apertura standings on Saturday by rallying from behind to beat Puebla 4-1.
Salvador Reyes put the hosts ahead in the 10th minute after Pumas' defence was caught napping by Omar Fernandez's ingenious 25-yard back flick.
Fabio Alvarez equalized by lashing a first-time effort into the top of the net after a Carlos Gonzalez cross from the left flank.
Gonzalez then put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot after Pablo Gonzalez clattered into Alejandro Mayorga in the box.
Pumas added a third goal when Juan Ignacio fired in from close range after goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera failed to deal with a Nicolas Freire header from a corner.
Juan Dinenno completed the rout in the 63rd minute by thumping a 25-yard shot into the top left corner after a counterattack.
