CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the launching ceremony of the City Relay Race around the Lake (Chongqing Station) was held. The competition will last until November 20 for 3 months. It will be completed by cities all over the country. Previously, the relay started in Nanjing and now has been taken over by Chongqing.

The City Relay Race around the Lake adhered to the original intention of “Building Health and Thumbing up for the Motherland”. Ms. Song Nina, the Athens Olympic Women’s Volleyball Champion served as the special leader, aiming to build a social and healthy lifestyle communication platform for middle-aged and elderly groups.

Participants in the event are healthy people aged 45 to 75 who are concerned about health and love sports. The organizer will select famous local lakes, rivers, parks and other places with beautiful environment and fresh air, and plan corresponding surrounding routes to hold a walking competition. In the end, five awards will be selected based on the performance of the contestants, the Best Style Award, the Most Charming Award, the Most Potential Award, the Most Beautiful Participation Award, and the Strongest Walker Award.
