CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Many landmark buildings have been built in Chongqing which is a well-arranged city, and have been praised by people who have been to here. In the minds of local people, how to interpret the urban footprints? Wang Jiang, a native singer of Chongqing, has spent more than 20 hours and 200 boxes of staples on his dining table to create a “3D Chongqing”.

“In fact, I’m a singer and photography is just my hobby. I never thought this miniature landscape of Chongqing made me so popular...” At the age of 12, he began to learn guitar. At the age of 13, he began to write lyrics for songs. When he became an adult, he traveled around the country to fight for his musical ideal. Wang Jiang, 33 now, was still surprised when he talked about the miniature landscape.

Outdoor river review bringing creation inspiration to Wang Jiang

“I remember a long time ago, I browsed the post of foreign artists building cities with stationery, and I tried it on my spare time...” Wang Jiang said. His hobby is photography, so he often visited Chongqing landmarks, originally just wanted to set up some characteristic streets, and then he was inspired. From Chaotianmen Raffles City to “Four Banks of Two Rivers”, he has a clear outline of the city, so he build these landmarks very well.

He took more than 20 hours to set up Chongqing's “Four Banks of Two Rivers” at the dinner table. Because it is a temporary idea, so he did not use glue for fixing, and he often had to carry out partial repair, so it is difficult to preserve the work for a long time. “Art is interlinked and there is no end to creation. Music and photography will give me a lot of inspiration for life, and I will further exert my imagination to complete more satisfying works.” Wang Jiang said that he would build more landmarks of Chongqing in the future, and his works would not be real only, but also imagined by himself, with more sci-fi and steampunk architectural styles. He hoped that through his own cognition of the city, more people could appreciate the charm of Chongqing and feel the different beauty of the mountain city.
