CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “Xiao Xiao, are you happy? You will have an ID Card!” On September 10, at a pet hospital in Huaxin Street, Jiangbei District, Miss Huang, a citizen, declared joyfully when a veterinarian injected an ID chip into the back of her dog’s neck to complete the “electronic authentication”.
Electronic dog ID Card is the first practical measure of “Internet + people’s livelihood police” launched by the Public Security Detachment of Jiangbei District Public Security Sub-bureau since 2019. It has been widely promoted in Jiangbei District since this year. At the Smart China Expo 2020, it also was exhibited as the big data application and promotion project of the municipal political and legal system.
Electronic dog ID Card is just one of the measures taken by Public Security Detachment of Jiangbei District Public Security Sub-bureau to innovate the social security management mode. Recently, the Detachment has launched a number of innovative measures, such as three-dimensional intelligent prevention and control and ecological compensation for the prevention and control of public security in Guanyinqiao Business Area and the ten-year ban on fishing in the Yangtze River Basin. The Detachment has used “different” measures to protect social peace.

It turns out that through the electronic chip implantation and the management of the electronic dog ID Card, on the one hand the police can effectively supervise animal immunization, certificate application, annual examination and so on, and accurately inquire the information of the owner of the biting dog and abandoned dog; and on the other hand the masses can also get dog registration and annual audit via official account.
