CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, Staff Book House in Worker Village of Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center Project Base of Southwest Company of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp., Ltd. was put into operation. This is also the first reading place of Yubei District Library.

Yubei District Library provided more than 500 books to the book house, including domestic and foreign masterpieces, engineering and construction books, law books, poetry books and psychological consultation books to enrich the cultural life of workers.

In the book house, Kuang, a scaffolder, was looking through engineering books, “I used to play my phone after work, but now I can go to the book house to read books, many of which are work-related. This one describes the scaffolding code, which is very useful.”

According to the relevant person in charge, the book house will give full play to a “reading place” to spread cultural knowledge of the role of establishing a perfect book lending system and developing activities such as book sharing, knowledge contests and poetry recitation to create a learning atmosphere, allowing the general staff to enjoy the pleasure of reading.
