CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The reporter from Chongqing Economic Times knew that after 12 years of suspension, Chaotianmen-Guangyang Island ecological sightseeing route has been put into trial operation again. The route has a total length of 24.5km, passing through 15 sightseeing spots such as Jiangbeizui, Chongqing Grand Theater, Danzishi Old Street, Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge, and Tongluo Gorge.

The reporter learned that the original ferry line from Chaotianmen to Guangyang Island opened in 1957, and stopped in 2008. It is now open again and has become an eco-tourism route. The ecological sightseeing route between Chaotianmen and Guangyang Island is 24.5 kilometers long. It starts from Chaotianmen and Guangyang Island respectively and passes 15 sightseeing spots including Jiangbeizui, Chongqing Grand Theater, Danzishi Old Street, Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge, Chongqing Cuntan International Container Terminal, and Tongluo Gorge (the first Gorge of the Yangtze River). The ecological sightseeing boat opened this time introduces the history, ecology and scenery of Guangyang Island. Citizens can enjoy food ordering service on the boat, including local special food, ecological drinks and so on.

It is reported that during the trial operation, four shifts will be operated throughout the day, with a one-way ticket price of 40 yuan per person. The departure time of Chaotianmen Jiaoyun Terminal 4 is 9:30 and 11:00, and the shift duration is about 80 minutes; the departure time of Guangyang East Island Terminal is 14:00 and 16:00, and the shift duration is about 120 minutes.
