CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The National Day golden week is approaching. Under the favorable conditions of stable domestic epidemic and 8 consecutive days of National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, it is expected to welcome the peak of travel and consumption this year. According to Ctrip’s recent search and booking data, the National Day travel market has been launched, and the booking data of airlines, hotels and scenic spots during the National Day holiday on the platform has been increasing.

In order to let consumers have a clearer understanding of domestic tourism market, Ctrip recently released the “National Day Golden Week Travel Map”, so that consumers can see hot travel destinations around the country at a glance, and arrange their holidays in advance.

Tourism recovery are based on transportation first. “National Day Golden Week Travel Map” shows that up to the middle of September, the number of major routes booking growth during the National Day holiday this year has been more than 200% month-on-month, train ticket volume has increased significantly, and it is difficult for tourists to buy a ticket of some popular routes.

The 8-day holiday offers visitors more vacation options. From the perspective of the magnitude of civil aviation search, visitor demand has recovered to 90% of that of the same period last year. According to the analysis of the current booking time, there will be four travel demand peaks during the National Day holiday, namely September 26, September 29-30, October 3-5, and October 8-11.

Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Xi’an, Kunming, Hangzhou and others rank among the best, and ticket prices, booking difficulties are also rising.

Comparatively, more people would like to choose train travel. Since September 28, the number of train tickets has increased significantly. The travel departure peak is mainly from September 29 to October 1, and the return peak is from October 7 to 8.

In terms of popular train travel routes, Shenzhen-Guangzhou, Changsha-Guangzhou, Chengdu-Chongqing and others are the most popular; Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and others boast the best ticket sales.

In addition, data from Ctrip’s search destinations shows that Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chongqing, Sanya, Xi’an, Harbin and Shenzhen are among the top 10 searched hot cities in China.
