CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 11, the all-green bullet train D755 from Chongqingbei to Xining stopped at the platform of Chongqingbei Railway Station. At 13:51 in the afternoon, the CR200J Fuxing Bullet Train, a train with a top speed of 160 km/h called “Hulk”, departed from Chongqing with 708 passengers and arrived in Xining nine and a half hours later, which was also the first time Chongqing runs “Hulk” MU train to Qinghai Province.

The “Hulk”, with its streamlined shape and internal service facilities and equipment identical to those of Fuxing Bullet Trains, is entirely developed by China. The train is a new type of multiple unit train assigned to Chongqing Railway Department by Chongqing Branch of China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd. in September 2019, which has so far flown across the Bayu land, bringing convenience to people traveling along the way.

At 13:25, the train conductor Yang Hanyue came to the platform to greet passengers. Train conductors Luo Shuangjiao and Zhou Zhengyang dressed in minority costumes, holding a photo frame and a display board already prepared to come to the platform. Everyone stood beside them and took photos with them, witnessing the first launch of the train. The crew also distributed well-prepared booklets “Warm Journey” to the passengers in order to deepen their understanding of the scenery and food along the way, which makes them feel closer to each other.

Mr. Zhou, who took his annual leave to go to Qinghai Lake, said, “I’ve long wanted to go to Qinghai Lake, but it used to take 15 hours by train from Chongqing to Xining, so I’ve never had enough time to go. Now that the “Hulk” train is in service, and it only takes nine and a half hours, a significant reduction. With the train, travel is faster and more convenient, and I just took advantage of this annual vacation to visit Qinghai Lake.”

The whole journey of train D755 is 9 hours and 27 minutes, according to the report. It departs at 13:51 from Chongqingbei, stopping at Nanchong North, Guangyuan, Longnan, Minxian, Lanzhou, and arrives at the final destination Xining at 23:18. Train D756 departs from Xining at 10:35 a.m., stopping at Lanzhou, Minxian, Longnan, Guangyuan, Langzhong, Nanchong North, and arrives at Chongqing North at 20:20.
