CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 50,000-square-meter Suma River Waterfront Park is a sight to behold in Longju Town, Wanzhou District, Chongqing Municipality. Facilities such as Cultural designs, public toilets and pavilions are all available in the park, and the 40,000-square-meter green landscape enhances the appearance of the village. The Modao Creek trickling under the blue sky is as beautiful as the sky. The achievements in recent years in regulating the discharge of domestic and production wastewater are shown here.

Longju Town was one of the 18 deeply impoverished towns in Chongqing. Wanzhou carried out targeted poverty alleviation measures for the town, and promoted various work through assistant units entering the village to create special industries such as Luhua Chicken and passion fruits. The villagers became wealthy and their living environment became comfortable and livable. (Translated by Wang Huixin, Fathom Language Limited)
