Chongqing International Beer Festival kicks off this weekend
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- From October 16 to 18, the 12th Chongqing International Beer Festival 2020 will be held at Chongqing International Convention and Exhibition Centre, according to Nan’an District. The organizer introduced that with the theme of “Gathering in the Mountain City and Cheering in Chongqing”, the Festival is held in the form of a “Beer Carnival”. It takes “internationalization, branding and symbolization” as its positioning to build city-level IP that integrates the development of culture, tourism, business and sports.
This Beer Festival will break through the exclusivity of young beer drinkers and niche youths and focus on a wider range of target consumers, highlighting the cultural, diverse and inclusive nature of it.
In addition, the Festival will bring together major beer brands to create a high-quality international beer culture experience pavilion; and more than 30 kinds of domestic and international beers are available for the public to experience the fun and quality of life and the straightforward spirit. Many Chongqing local bands and singers will also bring a feast for the eyes and ears.
It is worth mentioning that the Beer Festival has been upgraded based on its previous one. In addition to creating on-site cultural events of Beer Festival, it has also built an official online shopping mall platform called “Jiuyanzi”. According to the organizer, the establishment of the online shopping mall seeks to strengthen and upgrade the “Beer Festival IP branding”, integrate the supply chain of culture, tourism and business, and tap into the value chain of “liquor culture”; and driven by e-commerce, it stays abreast of the opportunity of the new retail era to refine the liquor market, guide the “new consumption pattern” and expand the consumer market through features such as verticalization, quality and innovation.
The organizer hopes that the Beer Festival will further enhance the city’s image, refine and shape its unique character, color, temperament and style, enhance the city’s attractiveness and influence, and inject new vitality into urban construction.
