CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, it has been raining continuously in Shuishi Township, Qianjiang District, Chongqing, which has affected agricultural production. The Township’s party committee and government have organized farmers to harvest crops and recover losses.

Shuishi Township is actively working to open and stabilize sales channels to eliminate farmers’ worries. In 2020, Shuishi Township has planted a total of more than 500 mu of Pod peppers and other varieties of pepper, with an estimated picking of 6-7 rounds, production of 700,000 pounds, the output value of more than 1 million yuan, and a per capita income of more than 5000 yuan for more than 100 people in the surrounding areas.
