CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon will finally kick off! WAHIN Hualing·2020 Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon has officially begun registration. It is reported that this year's marathon will be held in the mode of "small-scale offline competition + unlimited online competition", in which the number of people who take part in the offline competition will be controlled within 4800 people and will start on November 8th at Nanbin Road. Please pay attention that this offline competition is limited to the local residents or people who have lived in Chongqing for more than half a year. Moreover, participants must haven’t travelled in high-risk areas within 14 days, haven’t had contact with a confirmed or suspected cases, haven’t been tested positive for COVID-19 and haven’t been diagnosed as patients with asymptomatic infection. Only people who are in good health can have the chance to participate in this marathon competition.

In April of this year, Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon received a certificate from the International Association Of Athletics Federations, becoming the first women's event that has the logo of International Association Of Athletics Federations in China, comparable to the Nagoya Women's Marathon. Recently, Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon won the gold medal event of the Chinese Association Of Athletics Federations again and continued to maintain the highest level of domestic women's marathon events. It is said that the deadline for registration of the offline competition is 15:00 on October 28th. The offline competition contains three groups: half-marathon, 10km-run and mini-marathon. As for the half-marathon group, it contains 3000 people, and the registration fee is 168 yuan/person; the 10km-run contains 900 people, and its registration fee is 118 yuan/person; while for the mini-marathon, it contains 900 people, and the registration fee is 70 yuan/person. Runners can register through the official WeChat account of the "重庆女子半程马拉松" (Chongqing International Women's Half Marathon).

According to the organizer, the Chongqing International Women’s Half Marathon will also hold an online competition to make up for the pity that nonlocal players cannot come to Chongqing to participate in the marathon. The 2020 Chongqing International Women’s Marathon Online Competition is divided into two groups: a free running group and a standard group, both containing 5km-run, 10km-run and half-marathon.
