CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the opening of Chongqing Semiconductor Science and Technology Museum was held at Liangjiang Semiconductor Research Institute. The Science and Technology Museum is a non-profit public welfare project constructed in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area. It will become a popular science carrier integrating the display of semiconductor industry achievements and the popularization of science and technology. It will also provide opportunities for semiconductor professionals, college students, government and corporate representatives, and local residents, and provide popular science publicity for the semiconductor industry.

Time Tunnel

As the first semiconductor high-tech popular science venue in Southwest China, the Chongqing Semiconductor Science and Technology Museum covers an area of 1,300 square meters, including seven themes including Cognitive Hall, Time Tunnel, Craft Hall, Application Hall, 360 Holographic Hall, Policy Hall, and Future Hall. The exhibition hall systematically demonstrated the development of global semiconductor technology and industry from the aspects of material technology, process technology, IC design, and artificial intelligence chip application.

Yang Dongsheng, Honorary Curator of the Science and Technology Museum, said in his speech that the Chongqing Semiconductor Science and Technology Museum has not only absorbed international and domestic semiconductors, integrated circuits, microelectronics, and big data intelligent technology related fields of industry-university-research leading resources and excellent experience, but also integrated semiconductor and integrated circuit industry characteristics and strategic forward-looking scientific research results of Chongqing, and it will continue to promote the dissemination and popularization of semiconductor industry knowledge after its establishment, and enhance the “soft power” of Chongqing’s economic and social development.
