CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- He was affected with foot disability caused by illness in his 11, and then learned to weave bamboo products from his grandfather at the age of 14. At present, 74-year-old Hu Anjin has become a well-known local bamboo craftsman. Over the years, Hu Anjin has transformed the traditional Tujia back baskets, dustpans, rice sieves and other bamboo products to patterned back baskets, fruit plates, vases and other handicrafts that are both practical and valuable for collection by his weaving, which have now become Tujia characteristic tourism products, thus realizing an increase in his own income.
