CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the “WAHIN 2020 Chongqing Women's Half Marathon countdown launching ceremony” was held. It is reported that the race will be held in the mode of “small-scale offline race + unlimited online race” this year, in which the scale of offline race will be limited to 4,800 participants in total. At present, registration for the offline race is under way, and the deadline is 3: 00 p.m. on November 2.

Since it is a women’s marathon, the elements about women cannot be missed out. It is reported that the officially designated timing equipment for the race is provided by Earnest Borel, a famous international Swiss watch brand. In terms of time period, women’s athletic ability has been fully taken into consideration this year, and the closing time of the half-way group has been extended to three and a half hours, so as to encourage more female runners to achieve physical and mental health and challenge themselves by participating in running. The contestants in the race are all “Chongqing girls”. In order to make up for the pity that non-local athletes cannot come to Chongqing to participate in the race, online race has been set up, which is divided into three categories: 5km, 10km and half marathon.
