BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- A major innovation and entrepreneurship competition for Chinese youth across the country concluded in Harbin in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Thursday.

A total of 17 gold medals, 33 silver medals, and 70 bronze medals were awarded at the competition, said a statement by the Communist Youth League of China Central Committee.

A forum promoting innovation and entrepreneurship for the youth was also hosted during the competition. Experts and industry leaders were invited to share their experiences, and projects were presented to investors and the public during the forum.

The competition, the seventh edition since 2014, has attracted more than 2 million participants over the years. Enditem
