This event brought together beautiful women from all over the country. In April 2020, the Chongqing Women’s Half Marathon received a certificate of International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), making it the first Women’s Race with IAAF Label in China and rivaling the Nagoya Women’s Marathon. It was recently awarded the Gold Medal Race by Chinese Athletics Association, and has continued to maintain the highest standard for women’s marathon events in China. Due to the epidemic prevention and control needs, the on-site race was limited to local or local permanent residents in good health of Chongqing who have lived in Chongqing for more than half a year and have not had a history of traveling to high-risk areas within 14 days, who have not had contact with suspected persons, and who have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 or asymptomatic COVID-19 carriers.
