Chongqing Open Tournament (Southwest University) of China Tennis Tour 2020 conclude

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to Chongqing Sports Bureau, Chongqing Southwest University Open Tournament of China Tennis Tour 2020 was ended in Tennis Center of Southwest University in Beibei District, attracting more than 200 amateur tennis player from all over the country. It is reported that this is the first time for Chongqing to hold such an event, and it is a key action that Beibei District promotes cooperation with universities and creates a tennis sports base in west China.

According to Chongqing Sports Bureau, China Tennis Tour (CTA) is a top-ranking tennis tournament with China’s own intellectual property rights launched by the CTA this year, and it is also the first tennis IP tournament in China. Landing in Chongqing, this event gives the elite amateurs a platform, provides a huge rise space and opportunity for the majority of tennis enthusiasts to participate in the national events, breaking down barriers between the professional and the amateur, realizing an effective integration of domestic tennis players’ technical level standards with the competition and the intercommunication of domestic and foreign technical level standards.
