CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- For those disabled people, traveling could be a big problem, especially when they need to take a bus or other transportation. If there is no one to help, getting on and off the bus will be extremely difficult. Recently, a passenger in a wheelchair encountered such a problem while getting on a bus, but the warmth and thoughtfulness of the staff in Chongqing Western Public Transport Co., Ltd. made him feel warmer than the warm sun in winter.
At around 7:40 that day, a disabled person in a wheelchair came alone to the Chongqing University Station, which was a departure place of the T115 line of Chongqing Western Public Transport Co., Ltd., preparing to take the bus to Chongqingxi Railway Station. But because there were few passengers in the early morning, he traveled alone and was in a wheelchair. He couldn't get on the bus at all, and seemed to be very helpless.
Noticing such a situation, the two bus staff members Zou Zhihua and Cao Bin who were waiting in the dispatch room immediately decided to help the disabled man. Cao firstly placed the wheelchair in the bus, then together with Zou to help the passenger get to the door. Zou then carried the passenger on his back to help him get on the bus and finally find a seat, and also reminded the captain of No. 28199 on the T115 line to pay attention to safety of the disabled in the bus. And Zou even added that, staff in the bus should also help the passenger to get off safely after he arrived at the destination.
"We meet a lot of passengers every day, and these kinds of things happen frequently. It's a matter of little effort. When we notice that someone are in trouble, we should help them in time. As a staff in Chongqing Public Transport Co., Ltd., it is our duty to serve passengers well. I will do it when I see such a thing," Zou Zhihua said.
