CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, parents living in Min’an Huafu in Jiulongpo District are much relieved. The newly operated “customized bus” runs from Renhe Middle School in Jiulongpo District to Min'an Huafu Community, which not only saves the burden of some parents picking up students, but also reduces the gathering of private cars and black cars around the campus. It has effectively solved the security risks around the campus, which is also an important measure for bus customization and innovative service.

“We live in Min’an Huafu Community, and we always take bus No.203 when we go out. My child leaves the school at about six o’clock in the afternoon, but he doesn't get home until about 07:30 every day, and sometimes he can’t even get home until about eight o’clock in the evening. When my child gets home, although he is very tired, he has to do his homework after eating the dinner hurriedly. The traffic congestion on this section of the road is so serious that it is both worrying and distressing to see my child taking the bus,” said Ms. Liu, a parent of a student.

As the construction of road facilities is being carried out on the Min’an Huafu road section, the traffic congestion is becoming much more serious. The residential area is concentrated and crowded, so travel has become a pain point for the surrounding residents, especially the safe travel of students, which has become an issue of great concern to schools and parents. After learning about this situation, the staff of the Shapingba Branch of Chongqing Trolley Company, Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group quickly got in touch with the school staff to keep abreast of the demands and suggestions of the school and parents in an active manner.

After learning about the students’ demand by questionnaires, the Shapingba Branch of Chongqing Trolley Company found that more than 300 students in Renhe Middle School wanted customized buses to be operated. After several rounds of suggestion-collecting and plan-revising, and with the enthusiastic support and active cooperation of schools and parents, Renhe Middle School Customized Bus is officially available since November 17.
