CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the Press Conference before the race, “Daojiale · 2020 Chongqing Half Marathon” will start at 8:30 am on November 29, 2020 (Sunday) at People’s Government of Banan District, Chongqing. At the press conference, the finishing medals and costumes that have attracted much attention from runners were also officially unveiled.

Finishing medals and participating costumes have always been the focus of runners’ attention. The medal of the 2020 Chongqing Half Marathon is round, showing the Chongqing spirit of tolerance, grandeur, boldness and honesty. The geometry is divided into upper and lower parts. The pattern is a representative landmark building in Chongqing. The design font of the Chinese characters “Chongqing highlights the mountain city, Chongqing, closely following the theme of “Marathon in Chongqing”. The hanging belt also adopts the shape of mountain. The overall display is a magnificent picture of ecological beauty, industrial prosperity, and prosperity of the people!

The participating costumes are also unique. The costume design of the contestants this time uses orange as the background color. Orange is a cheerful and lively enthusiastic color, which can better represent the characteristics of Banan scenery. The design of the characters “Banan, China” on the front of the clothing is inspired by the “Chinese style” and incorporates Chongqing’s landmark buildings, maglev trains and other Chongqing characteristics, allowing runners to deeply experience livable and friendly city quality!

Compared with previous editions, the classic route of “Chongqing Half Marathon” this year remains unchanged. The starting and ending points are all located in the government square in Banan District, Chongqing. After the runners start, they will follow Babin Road to the north and turn back at Ronghui Camellia Square. The road is wide and flat throughout the entire course, close to the Yangtze River, and there are lush camphor trees and flowers along the way. The 4,900 runners ran along the Banks of the Yangtze River in the picturesque Babin Road, enjoying the race as well as the pleasant winter scenery in Bayu.
