According to Yugao Company, the North and South squares of Chongqingbei Railway Station will soon be interconnected and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, so there will be no more confusion about the North and South Squares.

Recently, the main structure of the Local Adaptive Transformation Project of Chongqingbei Railway Station South Square (hereinafter referred to as Chongqingbei Railway Station South Square Adaptive Transformation Project) has been completed for the carriageway of Tiangong Avenue and Baohua Avenue, and the construction of ancillary works is underway. Chongqingbei Railway Station South Square Adaptive Transformation Project is expected to be completed by December 30.

At present, 80% of the total progress of the transformation of the South Square has been completed, and about 95% of the main transformation of the square has been completed, while the main body of the vehicle passages of Baohua and Tiangong has been completed and is being decorated. At the same time, Chongqingbei Railway Station building of Chongqing - Lichuan Railway, which is being constructed by China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd., and related works are being implemented in parallel with the South Square Reconstruction Project. It is scheduled to be completed and put into use at the same time as the South Square Reconstruction Project.

As an important part of the Chongqingbei Railway Station’s South Square Closure and Reconstruction Project, Chongqingbei Railway Station South Square Adaptive Transformation Project is integrated with the North and South station buildings, rail transportation and public transport, meeting the needs of passengers and optimizing the surrounding traffic conditions.
