CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the “Knowledge, Memory, and Dream Building – Sichuan - Chongqing Minority Printmaking Exhibition since 1949” co-sponsored by the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Art Museum and the Printmaking Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute was launched at the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Art Museum.

The “Knowledge, Memory and Dream Construction — Sichuan-Chongqing Minority Prints Exhibition Since 1949 is divided into four sections, namely: 1. Big Family: Remote Fetters (1949—1958) 2. Memory Moment: Reconstruction of the Other and Self (1959-1965); 3. Reproduction of Imagination: Collective and Individual in Distress (1966-1976); 4. Watching of Dreams: National Spirit and Aesthetic Consciousness (1977-present). As the framework of exhibition and academic research, this paper showed the national visual engineering which Sichuan and Chongqing printmakers consciously participated in.

According to Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Art Museum, the exhibition period is from November 26, 2020 to January 19, 2021. Except for Monday’s closing time, citizens can obtain free tickets to view the exhibition through their ID card. (Translated by Luo Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
