BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- The 13th China Photography Festival will kick off on Dec. 20 in the city of Sanmenxia in central China's Henan Province, according to the China Photographers Association.

This year's festival will carry the theme of the country's fight against poverty and the COVID-19 epidemic.

During the festival, two exhibitions will be held featuring China's nationwide campaign to lift people out of poverty and the hard efforts to contain the epidemic, respectively, according to the association.

A national award for photography will also be presented during the festival. Enditem
