BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Young Chinese fans of traditional costumes have gathered in Nanjing, capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province, for a grand celebration marking the Chinese National Costume Day, the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League (CCYL) said Sunday.

Celebrations include a finery show, a traditional costume expo and a forum on the development of Chinese fineries, said the CCYL, which endorsed the event.

Apart from costumes, the expo includes accessories to go with the dresses and showcases traditional Chinese culture, the organizer said.

The celebration lasts through the weekend. Enditem
