Wulong Fairy Mountain

Last week, it finally welcomed its first snowfall after entering the winter. With 100,000mu grassland and 330,000mu forest being covered with thick white snow, it turned itself into an ethereal and romantic world of ice.

Each year, as a great place for skiing, sledding and other sports, the outdoor ski field will be opened. You can even set up a tent and have a barbecue.

Nanchuan Jinfo Mountain

Last week, it welcomed its first snow. Snowflakes kept falling down, putting on a thin dress on trees, fences and houses in the mountain.

Now, the Jinfo Mountain Hot Spring Festival is officially open, so is the Beipo Ski Field. After enjoying the snow view, you can successively enjoy the hot spring in Tianxing Town. In this way, you can experience the “world of ice and fire” in Chongqing.

Fengdu Xueyu Mountain

Located at the Qiyao Range of Wuling Mountain, the forest covers an area of 130,000 mu. The snow has already visited Xueyu Mountain, putting a thin veil on the Mountain and making it a fairyland indeed! 

Traffic guide

1. It takes less than an hour from Chongqing North Railway Station to Fengdu Railway Station by bullet trains. Trains are available from 06:00 o’clock in the morning to 20:00 o’clock in the evening.

2. Self-driving. You can leave Fengdu Highway of the South Section of Shanghai-Chongqing Highway (G50S); and it takes about 1.5 hours for driving in total.

3. You can take long distance bus at Chongqing Long Distance Bus Station, Sigongli Traffic Hub, Banan Longzhouwan Bus Station and Daxuecheng West Passenger Station.

After arrival at Fengdu: Fengdu Town - Sanjian Village - Longhe Town - Wuping Town. 

Wuxi Hongchiba

After the heavy snow, the fog rises from cliffs; and the winter snowflakes are flying and dancing in this ice world with their myriad secrets. 

Hongchiba offers an ideal place for skating and skiing in winter. Besides, near the grassland, there are some caves, where water will freeze even in summer. Inside, the melting water is dripping slowly, like a hot spring.

Chengkou Huang’anba

Chengkou has welcomed several falls of snow this year. In this early winter, the stretched mountains, rolling peaks, long crayons, vast forest and intensive grassland are all covered with white snow.
