CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Unobtrusive as they are, lamps are part of people’s life. For rural areas, rows of lamps present a unique scenery in the daytime, and shine like luminous pearls against the black background at night, lighting up road for home-heading passengers.

“It was a sheer darkness before and we couldn’t even recognize roads. Now, with the lamps set up, we feel much safer when going back home after work,” said Mrs. Wang, a villager from Zhangmu Village, Wuma Town, Fengjie County and an employer of an Oil-tea Process Factory. At the end of November, lamps were set up along roads in Oil-tea Base one after one, lighting up the village at night. After that, villagers didn’t need any flash light when going out at night.
