OQ2097 Flight landing safely

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At 9: 50 a. m. on December 18, one flight of Chongqing Airlines landed on Fairy Mountain Airport smoothly, marking the official opening of this Airport. 

It is known that Fairy Mountain Airport is a 4C Feeder Airport, with an elevation of 1745.05 meters and a Terminal covering an area of 6000 square meters. The design grade of the flight-run is 4C, with runways of 2800m in length and 45m in width, upon which the mainstream Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 as well as domestic C919 can land. Its annual passenger throughput reaches 600,000; cargo throughput reaches1500t; and flight taking-off and landing reaches 6360 times.

According to the report, Fairy Mountain Airport is the fifth civil airport in Chongqing Municipality. So far, the Airport Layout of “Leading Jiangbei International Airport Coupled with Qianjiang, Wushan, Wanzhou and Fairy Mountain Airport Branches” has been established in Chongqing.
