CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Dogs were running back and forth next to a pile of deliveries, sniffing around... From December 21 to 23, Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security held the National “Confrontation between Red and Blue 2020” Police Dog Detection of Telecommunication Fraud Tools Competition was held in Kunming, specifically focusing on the detection of telecommunication fraud tools.

This Competition insists on highlighting a practical, pragmatic and effective approach, and is a special Competition of police dog technology around the central work of current stage of public security. It is a new and difficult subject, with no ready-made experience to follow. It fully tests the dog’s adaptability, obedience and search ability in the face of a complex environment, and the wisdom of the police officer with the dog in the field, demonstrating the cooperative technical work of the dog and the police officer.
Aiming to ensure fairness and reflecting the level of strength, the Competition included the “Blue” mixed with the “target” in the deliveries, as well as the unknown situation of the deliveries in actual transport, both in the form of random sampling and lottery.

After fierce competition, the team of Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau won the “Group Second Prize” and Police Dog Detection of Telecommunication Fraud Tools “Excellent Team” for the Special Case Yunjian Action. Moreover, the two police officers who participated in the Competition were awarded the “Pioneer” and "Pioneer of Detection", and the two police dogs who participated in the Competition were awarded the “Meritorious Dog” by the Ministry of Public Security for the detection of telecommunication fraud tools.
