Moving in 2020: On August 20, “Flood 2 of the Jialing River in 2020” and “Flood 5 of the Yangtze River in 2020” passed the downtown areas of Chongqing. Chongqing firstly launched the level I flood control emergency response, and the whole city mobilized and acted quickly to devote to flood control and relief work. Firefighters in their assault boats rescued a child trapped in a hotel on Nanbin Road.

Sweat in 2020: On August 21, with the passing of the Jialing River flood peak, floodwater in Chongqing’s downtown areas began to recede. At Ciqikou Ancient Town, firefighters were using water cannons to clear silt and the whole city worked together to rebuild after the disaster.

Wisdom in 2020: On September 15, 2020 Smart China Expo Online opened at Chongqing Lijia Wisdom Park. XR technology was also used to create an immersive visual experience for visitors. What visitors saw was not only a plot similar to a science fiction film, but also a wonderful dream of future life.
