Inner Mongolia to build more agriculture parks
HOHHOT, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will build eight national agriculture parks in the forthcoming 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), local authorities said.
According to the region's department of agriculture and animal husbandry, more than 40 such parks at the regional level will also be built during the period.
Currently, the region has three national agriculture parks covering rice, cattle and potatoes, and seven regional parks covering wheat and sunflower, dairy products, sheep, red pepper, millet, goats and cattle.
In recent years, the region has allocated 70 million yuan (about 10.72 million U.S. dollars) for agriculture park building each year so as to push forward rural vitalization. Enditem
